Maroussia International Women's Day Annual 'Women in Transport and Logistics' Breakfast Event
The Maroussia Ltd 'Women in Road Transport' International Women's Day Breakfast (IWD) is an annual event first started in 2012 to celebrate the achievements of women in the road transport/trucking industry, and held in the week leading up to 'International Women's Day' on the 8th March each year. This event is keenly anticipated each year by women and men within the transport and logistics sector.
Maroussia remain the only industry Association to hold an IWD event recognising the role women play in the transport and logistics industry. 2017 will see our first event to be held in Townsville. See the Events Page for the next Function.
This event is an opportunity for women in our industry to network with their peers, to learn from the experience of others and to participate in discussion not just on the existing importance of women to the functioning of the freight task but to consider opportunities onward and upward in our ever changing industry.
The event is not exclusively for women and the Association encourages men and women in leadership positions to bring to the event those women in your business who are supporting and contributing to your success.
